wouterMember

the problem is i need both to get my station sound.
Why both? Fm or streaming or both ?
its for streaming,
i need both because: i cant get the deep bass in breakaway and i cant get my music and voice sounding warm in stereo tool. and when i use both i get can handle it well.
wouterMemberhere we just use breakaway with normal card, but with a external stereo/rds with mpx clippers preamps and stuff.
don’t make it to diffecult, keep it simple, thats the keywouterMemberdid you add the plugins, at the effect plugins or at the encoder plugins?
wouterMemberyour sound can be better, im missing the warm part of the song, and about the deep bass its some time to hard clipping i think.
maybe we can share presets or something to help you with a nice sound ? 😉
wouterMemberhow about this then: http://46.23.68.186:8070/listen.pls
bitrate: 192kbps

i coupled 2 instances of breakaway at the moment.
one with a changed helix preset
and one with a changed zenith presetlet me know what you think about it 🙂

i don’t think so.
the patsat stereo rds encoders are one of the best stereo/rds encoders at the world.
breakaway stereo is a good stereo, but not mutch better then the patsat or de rds 2000 stereo/rds encodersJanuary 29, 2012 at 6:45 pm in reply to: Hardware-RDS-Encoder with BBP and some other Questions #12982wouterMember
Best is to use BBP on transmitter site. And to use Airomate for the RDS. With the Marian trace alpha you will have DC straight output for your transmitter. If you would first feed this through the pira RDS you will loose this. Or when you want to feed it back in you need expensive sound card. So it’s better to do all in software. It is stable and high quality.
And you can use an encoder plugin within BBP for the streaming. The normal BBP version will be enough if you don’t need low latency and it will also sound better. There will be no processing freakday this year.
just use audio tx for place 2 place streaming, and then breakaway with a patsat stereo rds at the transmitter side.
child can do the dischious or how you call it
wouterMemberyou can vst’s already.
only you have to import the winamp vst bridge dsp in to breakaway first 😉
wouterMemberyeah thats what i searched for! 8)
wouterMemberanyone who can help me??
😳
wouterMemberchanged the link to the skyradio 101 fm stream.
hope now you can listen!
wouterMember
hi
first set some attenuation .. seems you go even over 0dB .. set atelast -0.5.
is it better this way? ( i lowered the input of the streaming pc)
wouterMember

I’m listening right now to your MP3 stream, how do you get your mid-bass section that great?
May i answer?
Because "Zenith" 🙂 Zenith is very and VERY open preset. Jesse once explained that. That is the only preset (in current ba products) where you’ll have mids like that, open. Not only mids, lows are also tweaked to max with minimum ‘pumping’ and in same time sounds like original just bit more warmer.
may i correct you?
radio oude stijl told us that he was using the oldies preset, in some earlier replies. it isn’t the zenith preset 😉
wouterMember

Is it Vista or 7? Separate OS’s??
It said 7 — the owner says it’s Windows 7.Updated 9/10/11
I guess the fact that I got no responses reflects that everyone on this board knows what I should have known……Breakaway doesn’t work with Windows 7. 🙄
i have heard enough pirates around here that use breakaway broadcast on windows 7 😉
