Not bad, is that dedicated PC case? or a generic enclosure? It’s hard to tell from the small photos.
Half the battle (and fun!) for me cutting was all the holes for the sockets and fans, I personally didn’t want a PC case because then it would look like a PC, rather then looking like a processor.Looks good though, well done. 🙂
hello lee xs
it’s not a pc case, it is a case like yours,only i have all pc components in it because i’m using him also fore automatic radio
and live performance every sunday (it’s a pc and processor in 1 case)my next project is now how to build a pc with 2 monitors,2 soundcards,2 gameports,2 video carts,2 seperate players with faderstart and prefade listening (the faderstart true gameport have i all in use on this moment)
GerrieMember
Anyone have any settings for this card?Want to try out the latest asio version of breakaway.Just a temp setting.will have a scope next week to fine tune it.Getting some spare time,so now it’s time to play…thanks
with preset rustoriumGerrieMember
I was going over some stuff mentally and on paper, and figured out the math behind a change I wanted to make (smoothing out soft to loud input density better), and pulled it off pretty well. So I re-uploaded those two WAVs.
I’ll upload a bit more later.
he jesseG i’ve listened this preset with cool edit and it’s sounds very good perhaps a little more bass!!!!

How did you do that exactly? I said I *will* do an upgrade option, but I haven’t done it yet, so it’s also not for sale in the web store yet. What exactly did you buy?
///Leif
Leif, thanks for everything the 2core works great,if you have good ideas ore presets or anything else put it on this forum,Keep up the good work,you deservid it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now i’m going to fight with the stereo enhanger.

GerrieMemberleif, i’m testing him now on this moment in my life studio en i’m thinks he sounds great!!!!
GerrieMember

Interesting situation. I’d hate to drive you towards using a cracked version when you’ve actually done the right thing and paid for it 🙂.
I think I have a solution. I’ll make an ini-file key, something like "include_obsolete_presets=1", and if a user sets that key, they’ll get the full list of presets including older ones. The list will get very long, but that way I can bring any old preset back for those who want them.
///Leif
Would be a good solution for my problem! I am not going to install that cracked version to get the old preset back, but at this moment I am a little jealous at my friend who has that Old Twente preset and didn’t even pay for it !! 🙂
leif,count me in for these solution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GerrieMember
That preset is still there, technically. All presets can now be "NR." Just select "Plutonium" for your preset, and then go into the settings menu and make sure there’s a checkmark next to "Noise Reduction."
thanks
gerrie
GerrieMemberhe leif
the new twente preset sounds great but i most tell you that the old one for webcaster use souds a little better
and where is plutonium NR? that preset was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper.
I generally try to leave well enough alone, and not alter presets. However, if there are good enough reasons, I occasionally make changes in the name of improving Breakaway.
In the case of Twente, every pirate I met in Twente said they didn’t like the preset because it squashed the life out of the music they played, and they said they liked Plutonium except the AGC was too fast and brought up vinyl background noise too much. Thus, I designed the new Twente preset, and the result was a lot of happy pirates! I regret that not everyone is happy — in fact, all it takes is one person to not like the change for the statement "everyone is happy" to be untrue, and it seems you are that person. However, I can proudly state that a lot of pirates in Twente are now actually using the Twente preset. If you can tell me what you liked about the old preset and what you don’t like about the new one, perhaps I can make a recommendation (or a new, better preset).
For Rusticity ’83 and Moon’n’Spoon, the reason for removas was simple — they were awful, and had no votes in the preset popularity poll. 🙂
Michi, if you can tell me what part of it you liked, perhaps I can make a recommendation.
Rusticity ’73 will be back by popular demand, though.
Once we do a 1.0 release, I will commit to not removing/replacing any presets, but until then Breakaway is technically still in beta, so trial and error is a natural part of the development process.
Loading presets from files is not available because it’s essentially equal to full control. Full control is not available because leaving it out is the one thing that makes it possible to sell a specialized product so inexpensively, while leaving the door open for more advanced versions in the future.
All this being said, perhaps I can think of a good way to choose the older presets without them cluttering up the meny. I’ll keep it in the back of my head, if I can think of a good way I might do it 🙂.
Best regards,
///Leif
GerrieMember
The 2nd core of course has a big discount! 🙂

GerrieMember
0.90.93 is W7 compatible, versions before 0.90.90 are not. (They work, but not with kernel streaming).
You can use the key you get from Njoy FM with 0.90.93, or any newer version!
