    Your English is fine.
There is no point of having your stream in low-latency, as there are many ddelays introduced into the stream by server hops etc. The main advantage of low-latency in the studio is that the presenters don’t get confused by the processing delay.

Thank you for including the error message. It is a complete mystery to Claessonedwards as to why this is happening randomly and the report may help. Leif actually changed his email address a couple of months ago and it looks like at least one DNS is still forwarding it to his old address which was cancelled due to too much spam.

It is not the OS which changes the licence information, but the MAC address of your network card. I’ll see what I can do to get the request through.

I have raised your problem via a PM.

With all the appropriate disclaimers in place to do with illegal copying or acquisition of music, many soundcards these days have a “what you hear” or “loopback” option so that you can use something like Goldwave to record whatever is currently playing through your soundcard.

Is it possible that anyone having problems with bounced emails could provide me with a copy of the bounce response? It might give me some ammunition to fire at the service provider.

I have passed on a query including your email details.

So, after you went through the installation process, you did not get presented with a “Wizard” to walk you through selecting input and output options?

If it is running, but without the main screen open, it will show as a green “orb” in the systray. You can right click on the orb and select “Open Main Window”.

When that opens, a similar orb with “Breakaway” under it shows as a logo. If you hover over that and right click, you get the “settings” option which will take you back to the Wizard.

BTW, do you have any anti-virus software running? Not sure if this is the problem, but I would pause that whilst trying to resolve this problem.

I am running BAE perfectly on Windows 11, so compatibility mode should not be required. However, currently it is 32 bit application (changing soon), so it will install in “Program Files (x86)” folder.

When you run BAE for the first time, it should display a “Breakaway Audio Setup Wizard”, because you need to set up your input and output devices. You can always get back to the same wizard by right clicking on the Breakaway symbol on the main screen and selecting “Settings”.

If you are not getting the wizard launch, I suspect that you might have a copy of the Pipeline “stuck”. Click on Windows symbol > All Apps > Breakaway Pipeline > Uninstall Breakaway Pipeline.
Once it has uninstalled, go into Device Manager > Sound, Video and Game Controllers, find “Breakaway Pipeline”, right click and uninstall each incidence of it.

I’d then download a fresh copy of BAE 1.44 from the Claesonedwards website (in case yours is corrupted) and start all over again. Once BAE installs, the very first thing it should do is run the Wizard.

I reported this problem from another member and it turns out that the emails were actully getting through. John Edwards received 6 emails from the same sender. Obviously, something is wrong, but the behaviour is very odd. Still looking into it.

Have you also installed the Pipeline? BAE needs it to run.
Run the Config program and select “Wizard”. Select your sound device and then click the “Test” button. If you hear a test tone, BAE is recognising your device and is able to output to it. Complete the config and check if there is the BAE “orb” icon in the systray. If it is there, click on it and the main window should open.

I haven’t had the problem, and I use Team Viewer. Try increasing your buffer sizes slightly in BA1 to see if this changes the behaviour. What sound device are you using as your output?

I’ll look into the email problem again, as I thought it was resolved. If you have generated the configuration file, once you send that through, you will receive a new key which will be generated from the MAC address of the new computer.

I am sorry. I just discovered that two different links on the website offer two different versions. I have now notified the Webmaster.

On that same page you provided the link to, it states in the release notes:-
“Adjusted UI scaling on dropdown menus”

Have you installed the latest version? Some work was done on the latest release to improve the font readability.
