    Dr.J,

You were clear, I was baffled by the asio config:

    L1: 12
    R1: 2

I was looking for a single number instead of the 1/2 and 2 designations.

You got me almost there….I needed to pick up the ball and finish the play.

    Thanks for your help too!

No worries Dave, I just couldn’t make out the "/" between the 1 & 2 on the screen shot provided. Glad it’s working for you now.

    Howdy,

Is this your experience? I use a USB (Gigaport) soundcard and if I didn’t plug the cable into the same port that I originally had it in, then OTSAV won’t play any audio?

So if I originally had the USB cable in port "A" and started my OTS program, then I need to keep it in "A" in order for BreakawayDJ and OTSAV DJ to work together.

That’s what I discovered after an hour of wondering why my system worked sometimes and didn’t other times.

As much as USB should be just plug-n-play, I’ve found it is very finicky related to the port you plug it into. With my M-Audio FastTrack Pro soundcard it will produce a lovely "white-noise" if I plug it into a different USB port that it was originally installed on. To circumvent this you can re-install your hardware on the new USB port, or just make sure you plug it into the same port each time.

This is a driver/OS problem. "Clever" device drivers can detect when you change ports and will re-install or adjust the port address automatically. If you have a USB memory stick, you can usually plug this into any USB port, and it will handle it. Your sound device should do the same.
Ots "remembers" the last audio device selected. It stands to reason that, if that device disappears off the radar, Ots can’t play.
