I got the Reverb to work and yes there is a bypass button but I can’t seem to get the other VST slots to work?
August 31, 2021 at 12:51 pm #16595mikehendeParticipantOk, I did some more testing. I used the same MReverb in 3 VST slots after renaming them and they all work fine, so it seems that BA1 might be having issues with different plugins? I will do some more testing tomorrow with the same VST’s in Reaper and report back.

One handy trick I found is to navigate to where it’s located in the Windows file explorer, copying the DLL, then pasting it in the address bar of the explorer window. This will put the path to the DLL there, including the filename. And all you have to do is copy it again, paste in BA1, and remoe the ” marks.
Also keep in mind that sometimes Breakaway can only see plugins in certain places. The default install of that plugin is “C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugIns\MeldaProduction\Delay”
edit: Also the ReaDelay in ReaPlugs should do the trick if the Melda one will not.

September 1, 2021 at 6:30 am #16605mikehendeParticipantYes so that plugin works fine now and I can switch between two plugins on the screen as long as they both have bypass buttons. Problem is finding an equivalent of my 2 preferred plugin effects “in 32 bit versions” but I will keep searching.
Just a thought, last night I had very briefly glanced at any options to either convert from a 64 plugin to a 32 or use a 64 in a 32 application. Before I should go spending a lot of time on this first I would like to know if it will be a good idea or I should absolutely stick with 32 bit?
September 1, 2021 at 1:15 pm #16606mikehendeParticipantOk guys so next phase. Can anyone give us or lead us to “instructions” on how we can get BA1 to work with BA1 plugins and all other audio sources being played the pc please? I have sent a request to ba1 Support this morning but no response as of this writing.
September 1, 2021 at 2:56 pm #16607MilkyKeymasterI’m purposely staying out of this discussion, because you seem to have your own “self-help” group going, which is a good thing. My advice is not to diversify into other areas until you get one stream working exactly as you want.
The whole point of VSTs is that they should all have their own functionality. It is not up to BA1 to provide overrides if they do not exist within the embedded program. Take that issue up with the developer of the VST.
