January 10, 2010 at 12:36 pm #9515AnonymousGuestSo is this out of testing and is stable. I like your product and find it works great so far. Also will this coexist on a computer with you other enhancers as long as they are not run at the same time. I have your other audio enhancer is why I ask.
January 10, 2010 at 2:19 pm #9516LeifKeymasterYes — from the great test results so far, I’m confident enough to sell it 🙂.
Yes, it will coexist just fine with all other Breakaway products.
Best,
///LeifJanuary 10, 2010 at 2:45 pm #9517Dr.JMemberThanks Leif, I’ll be purchasing a copy and should have my test system up and running this week. If all is good (and I see no reason why it wouldn’t), I’ll be buying a few more copies. I’ll let you know how I make out.
January 10, 2010 at 5:38 pm #9518AnonymousGuestI already have my test system out. I’m going to be testing it on a DJM 5000 pioneer mixer. Going thru the Bose L-1 sound system. If my system can pick out any issues it will. I will be using OTS AV latest edition. I had to stop using the enhancer when I got this mixer. My other was a simple USB mixer Numark. It had no problems but with pioneer the enhancer would not work because of the pioneer specific ASIO drivers. I will keep you informed of any issues or questions. Thanks for this I had really liked the enhancer and had missed it. It was the only thing about my new mixer that I did not like.
January 10, 2010 at 7:16 pm #9519AnonymousGuestOk I just bought the program and it sent me to a page where it was not available. I’m assuming that its the same file that is on this page. Is this correct if so I will put that On my other computer and the have it registered when you send the registration to me.

Thanks , Leif! Already purchased it, just waiting on the license! 🙂
January 10, 2010 at 8:03 pm #9521AnonymousGuestOk Leif I have this going on my system and it sound great. The only problem is that when I import a large playlist while playing a song it has major disruption. I even have the buffer all the way up to 1000 what ever it is. I’m quite sure I’m not doing something right. I will continue to play around if you have any suggestions let me know. This computer is a video powerhouse 3 gigs of ram and 2 gigs of video memory. Hmm something I found out I had it on the wrong drivers. Though its for breakaway and certain channels on my mixer I changed it and it seems to be work fine. I did have to raise my buffer into the 700 area but everything is synched well and no nasty sound while trying to import large playlists.
January 10, 2010 at 8:09 pm #9522Bryan DurioMemberLeif, what happened to my beloved Magnifying Glass preset?? * sniff *
For the record, I’m checking out the v0.90.04 alpha version, and it uninstalled BAE 1.20.26. Haven’t gotten it to do ASIO yet.
January 10, 2010 at 9:15 pm #9523powerjamMemberGot the license! It was hiding in my spam folder. For some reason google (gmail) thinks my purchased activation file is spam 🙁
Thanks again, Leif – now back to enjoying the music!

Try restarting your system… that worked for me after I changed a bunch of settings. I use 256 samples on my laptop and it’s only 3gb Ram and 512mb dedicated video ram, T7200 dual core cpu, laptop. I had minor glitching at 128 samples so I switched to 256, haven’t noticed any problems with these settings at all. I’m using an Echo Indigo DJx expresscard for audio and the Asio driver.
What DJ program are you using tngdj?
January 10, 2010 at 9:27 pm #9525AnonymousGuestOTS Bro I’m nextgen1 in the OTS Forum The lag problem I have is when I import a huge playlist about 500 songs when its playing a music video my system tells me about it. I’m playing with settings even as I type.
January 10, 2010 at 10:11 pm #9526powerjamMemberOk, that’s what I thought, ots bro! I did notice if I refresh my music library while I’m doing a lot of stuff, internet open, etc, I get some noises like the Asio is hitting it’s limit or whatever it does, makes a beeping noise. So maybe the solution is to not do those type of things when playing video, OR using WDM? Or bumping the buffer up more, I guess. A cpu can only take so much, but I don’t think the Breakaway DJ is using that much CPU extra – for me it’s about 8-12% with the breakaway DJ window closed but running in the taskbar and with the meters running it hits 8-13% cpu in task manager.
January 11, 2010 at 2:10 am #9527AnonymousGuestNow when I’m playing audio songs I have no problem being in the teens. But doing video it sits about 35-40 percent when doing videos and can top out at 90 percent when doing a video transition. But usually about 75-80 max. It’s not like I have a problem during playing of any kind its just importing my huge playlist. I like it because it has a ton of songs I know that work great in my area and are mostly floor packers.
January 11, 2010 at 2:07 pm #9528LeifKeymasterWhen importing a playlist without Breakaway DJ but still using ASIO, how does it work?
