I thought I did 🙂. What are you missing exactly?Best regards,
///Leif
You certainly did, and I am not complaining. However, I am more results driven than price driven, and would rather pay more for a product that is dynamic and kept up to date than one which is seen to be stable and therefore "complete".
My "poor cousin" comment was because I had already admitted a liking for the Zenith preset in the thread where JesseG announced it and, if it really is an improvement on its already great predecessor, then I assumed its roll-out would automatically flow on to all products in which it is currently installed.
April 11, 2010 at 9:13 pm #10350LeifKeymasterGotcha. Nothing is automatic, every update takes a lot of work from me. Presets alone aren’t enough to warrant an update for me, but new features are, and then presets may come along for the ride. Stay tuned 🙂

April 12, 2010 at 3:11 am #10351LeifKeymasterJoop, that was uncalled for. I specifically said what to do if that was out of your price range. If you didn’t read my whole post that’s fine, but there’s no reason to be rude.
Best,
//LeifApril 12, 2010 at 5:33 pm #10352Joop KrauthausenMemberI’m sorry…i never meant to be rude.
I didnt get the part were you wrote the thing about full control… i just cant remember me asking for full control.. thats it.
To be honest we need the "simple" operation of breakaway. We love that. No tampering and mistakes possible after setting it up right.
That was the question for a button to change it into a tv processor. Small station (many listeners, but still small revenues) not a lot of money.. breakaway is a kind of lifesaver for us. So if our tv branch could benefit with a breakaway tv processor it would be great.
Since everybody is asking you for alterations in breakaway i just joined the fun and went along with the maybe stupid question.I never meant to be disrespectful or rude..
My apologies.joop
April 12, 2010 at 7:16 pm #10353LeifKeymasterMy bad, I misunderstood. Again, to be clear, Breakaway Live with Reference Settings will make an excellent Stereo TV processor.
Best,
///LeifApril 19, 2010 at 3:46 pm #10354GuillouMember
BBP ASIO shouldn’t do steaming (not ideal sound quality) and BBP LIVE cannot do FM at all.
Can you please give me more details about this…
If BBP ASIO is in "phase linear" mode, why wouldn’t it be ideal sound quality with a 15 or 25us pre-emphasis ? Isn’t it like BBP for webcasting with this settings ?April 19, 2010 at 4:09 pm #10355LeifKeymaster
Can you please give me more details about this…If BBP ASIO is in "phase linear" mode, why wouldn’t it be ideal sound quality with a 15 or 25us pre-emphasis ? Actually you’re right. I forgot about this mode 🙂.

April 24, 2010 at 4:43 am #10358AnonymousGuestGreetings, I like the features of this new release. But I am having problems in this version which I didnt before (was on build 78). There seems to be some kind of feedback problem with my decives in this version.
I have tested on Win7, Vista, Vista SP1 & SP2. On Vista vanilla I dont think i had the problem but didnt test too long. I’m using various devices (at different times and not connected to gether) M-Audio Audiophile, RME Audio HDSPe + Multiface II.
What happens is that a feedback loop occurs on one of the channels. Audio is coming in, but a harsh duh duh duh sound is coming off one of the outputs. I configure separate outputs for FM and Studio channels. One to broadcast and one to DVR.
Having gone back to 078, the problem is gone, so wondering if this is a new problem.
Hope this helps,
PazApril 24, 2010 at 5:03 am #10359LeifKeymasterFeedback?? I definitely wasn’t aware of that problem!
Could you post a screenshot of your i/o configuration screen?

April 24, 2010 at 5:20 am #10360AnonymousGuestHi Leif,
Thanks for the fast response. I’m not even able to get into IO config anymore, it crashes with the following. FYI, I have ASIO version.

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid= … cid=0x0409I’m currently using M-Audio Audiophile on 6pin firewire. The setup though is using 48khz, input: 1,2, FM output: 1,2 (out), Studio: 3,4 (out). I also have audio realtime priority off, phase scrambler off,
April 24, 2010 at 5:33 am #10361AnonymousGuestOk, here is some more info. I found out that I can bypass the crashes (even on opening) by disconnecting the device and then reseting io config to disable. That way I can get back in again when reconnecting device.
001-io-config.jpg[/attachment:jwxjfz3y]
Attached is the io config and also when running. Note the 7,8 is the FM out and I have studio disabled for now to minimize the parameters at hand. You will see that channel 8 out is spiked and is where the feedback is coming (not sure if that is the right term, its not like an audio feedback with a squelch, rather some kind of device error sound). You see 7 is operating properly. Sometimes its both channels, often only 1.
001-feedback.jpg[/attachment:jwxjfz3y]
I have noticed that having audio realtime priority enabled is at least not causing a crash when i go from running mode to io config. I have confirmed this just now by reproducing.
April 24, 2010 at 6:02 pm #10362LeifKeymasterHmm.. RME HDSP.. Another customer is having a different problem running BBP ASIO on this card.
I may just have to buy one of these cards for testing purposes.

April 24, 2010 at 6:24 pm #10363LeifKeymasterDone! I’ve ordered an RME HDSP 9632. It will take a couple of weeks before I have it though — once it arrives, it has to be shipped again to Thailand (where I live).
