Request. The slam slider to go higher. 6 maybe. I used to use 2 impact clunks with just the slam slider set on the old breakaway and i liked it. better then using bassfx and impact clunk in my view. Love the new version of the software
January 12, 2017 at 1:58 am #14736GustyArteParticipantHello group friends.
First of all, sorry for my English and very happy with the new version of the processor that we both want.I have a rather strange inconvenience and happened to tell them, maybe they can help me.
My pc is an AMD Phenom II X2 560, Windows 7 and 4gb Ram. Audio card: Esi Juli @
Breakaway ASIO worked correctly 5 years ago without any problem!
But breakawayone does not want to run, when I try to output the MPX function, the audio is heard cut and slow, then the program closes with an error.
It works correctly when I use the audio outputs without mpx (Audio Out)The CPU load is no more than 30%.
Anyone know what can it be?
The asio drivers are the latest from Esi Juli @Thank you very much!
January 14, 2017 at 2:21 am #14737LeifKeymasterHi Gusty,
My gut feeling is that it's your old AMD CPU that isn't keeping up. I cannot explain why it seems to only take 30% CPU core though, as BaOne is multithreaded. Nor can I explain the crash, as it doesn't happen on any of my 20+ PCs — but I don't have any machines like this to test it on. The closest I have is this:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5414#ov
..and it works fine on that. However, the low latency mode may work! It's more similar in CPU use to BBP ASIO. I recommend trying that.
Otherwise, it sounds like it's time to upgrade. With a system that old, it's only a matter of time before things start failing. It's really not worth the time.
I would personally not use up my one free update (worth $349) on a system that is itself worth under $100, because if it fails the next day, that's it. 🙂Best regards,

Is it possible to restore the ability to inject an RDS signal (either digitally or from a live input source)? Although the optional inbuilt RDS coder is nice (at a price), it's not fully featured enough for some and certainly will not be sufficient for some of my client needs. Considering Airomate is/was only €15 and does so much more, the price for the BAO option seems a little high.Yorkie.
January 16, 2017 at 5:19 pm #14739ddtopParticipantHello,
I 'm using BO ASIO for almost one month now with no problems, using win7 32bit with Marian Trace Alpha. For one thing I 'm curious. In BreakawayOne Config the asio buffer is 512 and in Alpha control panel is 1024. Is that normal?///Best.

[/quote]Exactly, that's the only one reason that currently prevents me to migrate from BBP ASIO to BAO :-\
March 25, 2017 at 12:40 pm #14741kfreewiMemberI'll add to the few who've requested a bit more filling out of the RDS capability of BAO. For my needs, I'd be totally content if there was some capacity to scroll words longer than 8 characters within the PS window. Under the present setup, everything after 8 characters seems to be ignored. Love me some Aerosmit! 😉
Not every radio with RDS can handle Radio Text and some that do handle Radio Text cannot update that field dynamically as the song changes. Having the ability to add some flexibility to the PS function would be very useful.
Outside of this bit, I've been extremely pleased with BAO. Stacked Boxes for the win!

Or as Leif documented it…
Have fun 🙂

April 24, 2017 at 9:11 pm #14744mzeroMemberHi everyone, first time poster from the UK and new to the forum. I've been testing Breakaway One for a few weeks, and I really like what I can achieve with it. Eventually I would like to deploy it in an Internet Radio plant. In a future version I'd love to see a variable HPF and LPF, and few more ways to tweak what's under the bonnet. I would love to have more control of the levels of AGC, like on the French Kiss preset. I've managed to get 2 layers of AGC going and taking what I like from other presets and copying and pasting into my own amx files. So that's why I'd like to see more depth in the settings department. I love the presets, but I'd like the ability to start from scratch and build my own sound from the ground up.
Overall, I love Breakaway One and you guys have created something truly remarkable
July 25, 2017 at 2:13 pm #14745aleph99MemberI have a simple request: please restore the old interface of something similar to it. The sound is very good, better than BW Live in my opinion, but the interface is clunky and counter-intuitive.
