Just to keep the thread alive: hi Leif, I’m still waiting (and hoping) for the batch processing feature, either as Winamp plugin or standalone. If you decide to offer it as a separate product, I would gladly pay for it all over again. Please!

Ah, This is the topic I need. I am also in the need for a batch processing function. I tried breakaway (broadcast/live) already and this is exactly what I need, if the batch processing option was there.
Have you made any progress with this?

    Thanks!

I’m also in support of this batch processing software. I would also pay for this software separately. I think the key that we’re all looking for in this batch processing is that fact that it would process the files much faster than real time.

I know that listening to mp3 files in my car without octimax is just harsh and uncomfortable on the ears. Thanks Leif!

I hear you loud and clear. I’d love a feature like this myself, especially as a plug-in for a good media management system. I’ve been looking for a good music management program myself for quite a while now, do you guys have any suggestions? Once I’ve started using one myself, there’s no greater motivation to make a breakaway batch conversion solution compatible with it.

    Best,

My personal favorite media management is Media Monkey, it has script and winamp plug ins support, and is compatible with most or all portable media playes (ipods, etc.). And it has a great and supportive forum, where the developers are actively involved, such as yourself Leif. BTW MM is really fast for managing large collections compared to WMP and Itunes,

Nice one! I’ve heard good things about MM and it’s been on my list of things to try for years. I guess it’s time!

+1 for Media Monkey. After WMP11 started randomly changing my album art and other details, I made the switch to MM. It was so good, I bought the lifetime license. Haven’t looked back since.
