on winamp I will notice that the BA Live screen will freeze for a few seconds, but the audio is unaffected and the screen will freeze a few times in a 10 minute period. I do reboot and that does help. but the main problem is my Sequencing Software (Lightorama) the problem is more severe no screen locks just the audio will lock, and I can’t close out of the BA live, I need to get into task manager and close down the breakawaylive.exe I have noticed in the processes that breakawaylive.exe is loaded twice that raises an eyebrow of curiosity.

My system is:
WinXP Pro SP3
AMD Athlon 64×2 Dual Core Processor 4600+
2.41 GHz
1.93 GB RAM

and my lightorama software when it is in Show Play mode runs as a service, which shouldn’t make a difference

thanks for the interest
I recommend Breakaway Live for HD Radio.
A quick test on DAB+ and it sounds great. 🙂

I am eager to try Breakaway Live with my stations HD’s and I will post my applause to this product, Also on another topic I updated my sound card device driver and that seems to fix my freeze up,

Also I am spreading the word about your product on the Light O Rama website (this is where people who synchronize their Holiday Lights to music hang out)

Leif,

All I have to say is Bravo, my HD 3 is great. I changed my bit rate to 32kbps from 24kbps, now all 3 of my HD’s are 32kbps (only station in the USA doing this,my source is iBiquity), and on my HD 2 I’m still using SS 3.1 and on HD 3 is your Breakaway Live. I was able to demo/switch between the two for the boss and I was able to purchase it, I’m hoping in a few months I can get 3 more copies of Breakaway Live for my other HD’s

right now I am using Plutonium for 32kbps, any suggestions that you think is good setting for that bitrate?

thanks

Depends on what your format is, but I’ve asked this question before, and it really makes no difference what setting you use as far as masking any of the artifacts. Plutonium is a swiss army knife for a lot of different styles of music, the noise reduction sounds amazing. You’ve really got to go out of your way to make BBP sound bad.
