Ah– so that must mean that in the BBP promo, the guy mispronounced your last name. Turns out I had the wrong pronunciation for both first & last. 😯
The first name is correct in both places, but regarding the last name, actually HE’s pronouncing my last name right, and I’M mispronouncing it 🙂.
See, it’s spelled Claesson. In Swedish, this reads as Clawson. However, Americans always read it as Clayson, so when I moved to the states, I changed my own pronounciation. My first name was more important (I don’t want to be Leaf / grow on trees) so I decided to pick my battles carefully — default the last name battle to win the first name war 😉.
The habit just stuck. However, when I write my name in Thai letters, i write Glawson (closest available consonant). No sense re-translating the english compatibility fix 😉.

Bit of an update.. Been streaming with Breakaway Live for over a week now, and no bugs. It hasn’t crashed, and the audio’s sounding fine.

It’s listed on Shoutcast…only a quarter of the listeners for now though until my bandwidth issue is fixed. Tuner2 found us a couple of years ago, so that’s cool. Xiph I’ve never heard of, might have to look into that one.
