KeymasterIt’s finally done!
Apart from being transparent, it also now supports 64-bit Windows.
Please let me know how it works. Looking forward to official 1.3 release!

ParticipantOther than being all about the bleeding edge, any reason a 32 bit xp user would benefit? Any other changes?

KeymasterNone that I can think of at the moment. 🙂

MemberWow! So far so good here – Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit – and the toolbar works a treat 😀

MemberI am using V1.20.24 Beta on Win 7 x64. Should I uninstall that version before installing this one? Or can I install on top of the older version. In a different thread about an earlier beta, you recommended to uninstall first.

KeymasterInstalling on top should be fine.

MemberYes, I installed 1.3 beta over 1.2 with no problems at all (Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit).

GuestHoly …. Wow Leif the "Eruption" setting sounds EXCELLENT, congratulations!!! This is the first time I update to 1.3, and I’m just testing the new presets, Plutonium is a great addition as well!. 😀
So far all is working fine in WinXP SP3 32b.
Just a tip or reminder, setting like "Eruption, Helix, French Kiss and Perfect Blend" could use better descriptions like in "reference jazz or classical" settings, to give user a better idea of what they do or sound like.
Cheers!

GuestI agree w/ what "livelike321" said about offering more of a description on Helix, Eruption, French Kiss, etc.
Which, by the way, which would u suggest to offer the overall best blend for metal/gothic/industrial type music? I keep moving back n’ forth between the 3 mentioned above. Or, The Regulator when I want that extra bass kick!

MemberJust a quick note – BAE under Windows 7 64-bit is consistently sounding awful each time I invoke an application that needs to use it. I have to re-run the wizard to get my sound back (sound crackles and is scratchy). This is new behaviour with the latest beta.

KeymasterHi Darwin!
How odd. Which version were you running before? Could you downgrade to that version and see if it still works better?

MemberHi Leif,
I *think* that this may have been a conflict with either MuvAudio 3 or with Total Recorder 8 Pro – both install virtual sound drivers. Total Recorder is now gone and MuvAudio’s virtual drivers have been disabled and, as far as I can tell, the problem is gone. I’ll keep you posted,
Thanks,
Mike
PS I’ve been running the betas as you’ve released them, so the previous version was 1.3.01

MemberBummed. I rebooted the computer and the problem is back, despite MuvAudio 3’s virtual drivers having been disabled and Total Recorder 8 having been removed. I’ll have to try rolling back to the previous beta, if I still have the installer, and see what happens. I’ll try to post back later today.
