All the usual stuff, update chipset, usb, gpu, audio, and networking drivers… check DPC Latency (do a search here)…
and of course you’ll have to tweak the buffer size and number of buffers used by Breakaway to get optimum results with the lowest latency possible. I’ve found in many cases where slightly smaller buffer sizes can be more stable than larger ones. Or 2 times the amount of buffers that are half the size. You really can’t tell until you optimize it for each computer, because there can be many things effecting it. Windows itself, the drivers for the hardware, and the hardware itself.
Try those suggestions, and if you’re still not getting results, tell us your DPC latency peak, and also some basic system specs and what audio card you’re using. 🙂 Oh, and I moved your topic from the MPXTool forum to the correct forum. You really lucked out that I just happened to check it tonight, as I probably only check it every few months, lol.
