I’m loading the Shoutcast DSP in Breakaway Live encoders (dsp_sc.dll) but normaly Shoutcast have an AAC+ option I’m only see an option for streaming in normal mp3. How can I stream in AAC+ with that Shoutcast DSP encoder?

Use EdCast DSP. Search on here, there’s some good conversation.

You need to load 2 files into the Edcast Directory from Winamp folders.
These are: enc_aacplus.dll and nscrt.dll. These should go into the same place you put the lame_enc.dll to get the MP3 encoding option to work.
You should then find the AACplus option available when you restart Edcast. Unfortunately, Edcast can be unpredictable at times and I have found occasions where no matter what you try, AACplus does not appear in the list.

I don’t know what you mean. I have installed the edcast dsp but there is no edcast directory, all the files are in Winamp in the plugins map. When I select the edcast dsp in Breakaway it gives an error what says that I must use the bass.dll. What’s going wrong?

I read here that I must install directly in the Breakaway map. I install all the files, Edcast works but I see only the vorsis encoder and can’t use aac+ or mp3 and all files aacplus.dll and lame.dll are directly in the Breakaway map. What goes wrong?

Edit: looks like it works, didn’t click that vorsis encoder before there I can choose for aac+ etc.

FYI – with latest enc_aacplus.dll you wont need nscrt.dll – in fact, latest winamp does not come with nscrt.dll
