I want to use (and actually do it already) two instances of RTA.

I have cloned my original RTA program folder (so now I have "RTA" and "RTA2" folders), renamed one "RTA.exe" to "RTA2.exe" and added individual quick launch links.

It seems as if it works (Win XP pro SP2) without any noticeable problem.
Or will I run with two instances sooner or later into trouble ?

I’m interested in how you feed one input to each instance.

I’m pretty sure you use the Audio Resampler available in this post… http://www.ceaudio.com/beta/AudioResampler.zip. I haven’t done it myself, but I’m pretty sure you make multiple folders – AudioSampler1 and AudioSampler2 – then set the correct input/outputs.

Most soundcard drivers even before 10 years ago will let you record as many times as you want, at the same time, from the same soundcard. 😉

It’s only with Kernel Streaming that it’s not supposed to be possible because of how Windows & the driver itself are is providing exclusive access to the card.
