    Hi Folks,

A few times I have seen the clip detector in Breakaway Broadcast flashing constantly for hours and hours.
It looks to me like a false positive and something else could be causing the issue.
Original audio files are all WAV files ripped from CD with a peak to peak normalisation of -1dB.
Plugins include the -6dB attenuator followed by impact/clunk.
I have ran the processor for 62 days without seeing the issue at all.
Other times it will occur after a few days.
The only way to resolve the issue is to shut down and restart Breakaway Broadcast.
Looking at the input, it is clearly not clipping and the output will peak at about -6dB max!
    See screenshot below:

    Breakaway Broadcast Version 0.90.95
    Any help will be great…

    Thanks,
    Conor

Are you use breakaway pipeline or virtual audio cable , or a soundcard for input?

    Hi Sebastien,

I use a Breakaway Pipeline to directly link Jazler Simplepack to Breakaway Broadcast.

    Thanks,
    Conor

    Hello Conor ,

ok , on my pc ,with dual core pentium and windows xp , breakaway pipeline is instable. It’s not the fault at leif but at the developper of Virtual Audio Cable. The instability may cause jitter distortion .

Have you try with a soundcard if you have the same problem?

    Hello,

    This is a known bug…

The upside is.. that after a period of time and a couple of resets later it will stop doing it.. upgrading to a newer version could help.
Downside after a year it will come back 🙂

We had it a month ago , we waited it out.. and it left.

As long your audio is not affected i would not worry.

    Joop
