Hi guys!
I’m currently working on the next version.
So far, here’s what I’ve done:
DirectSound support and optimized latency – for drastically reducing delay on Vista systems.
Several bugs fixed in the underlying code – for example a sample rate converter bug which could have been responsible for Breakaway crashing under extreme system load (such as when resuming from hibernation).
Slight changes to Reference Settings and Reference Heavy, yielding a much smoother high-end.
In process:
Signed driver and executable – for streamlined installation, and Vista 64 support!
I still haven’t been able to reproduce any problems with OtsAV, which seem to be a recurring issue. I’d better get on that.
I admit it’s been a long time since the initial release – to be honest, I got burned out by it (5 months straight development) and had to work on other projects for a while. But, here I am – I’m back! 😉
Any other bugs I should be fixing while I’m at it, guys?
