Participanti’m sure this has been asked all though i didn’t find anything. what would be the recomended dance presets for breakaway broadcast? was thinking french kiss newyork and putonium and amsterdam? but i’d say newyork would be my favourite so far. i’m looking for base but don’t want to cancel out everything else for it. newyork gives me the sound but i notice a little distortion on some songs. what would be the recomended settings for this preset? my basic settings are, power range and speed at 20, base and base-shape at 0 and final drive at 0 and pre-emph at 15. suggestions would be welcome. as to which preset and settings i should use. thanks

Well at default settings New York is already at the edge of how loud it should ever go. So if you’re changing settings that make it go louder sometimes, without reducing the final drive, then there’s your problem. 😉

Participantmy settings now are power and range at 40 and speed at 30 so how much would you recomend me to reduce the final drive to? some of my songs are lower than others so maybe should i just have the power at a high setting but not the range?

power and range both effect the total range. i can’t really say though, there’s too many variables. just take it slow and do what sounds good. if it distorts too much, try turning down the final drive half a dB at a time, and wait for some hours before you make another decision. and when you get really close, wait for a day. 🙂July 9, 2010 at 2:17 pm #11039dancemusicradio
