Does BAE support multiple users and user switching in Windows 7?

We use a different log in for each person in our household and then use user switching to keep logged on in the background.

The first person to log on gets BAE working fine but all others then get the following message when trying to start it:

    quote :

    Error starting audio engine:
Unable to open “Realtek HD Audio output”
for output at 48000 hz, 8 channels, 16 bits.
Device does not support requested format,
    or sound device is busy.

I am assuming this is due to trying to run a second instance but may be completely wrong!

So, is user switching causing the issue?

Other than this issue I am completely bowled over by BAE and really would like to buy it, but if BAE cannot be used with multiple users then this will probably stop me from purchasing it.

    Hope someone can help.

    TIA

Interesting. I’m not sure that could be gone around unless

-A- it was designed to stop using the soundcards when the machine was locked, not ideal

    or

-B- the backend was made into a service. the users would have to share the soundcard settings.

Correct, I’m afraid only one copy of Breakaway can be running at a time. If a copy in another user account is already using the sound card, the new copy cannot open the sound card. Sorry for the inconvenience.
