    I m using breakaway live and having trouble adjusting volume going in. Are there any volume mixing software solutions?

    Sure, but you’ll still run out of headroom (and distort) if it’s too loud, or you’ll get too much noise if it’s too quiet. And Breakaway already handles those adjustments for you.

    I guess I just have no idea what I am doing. Id there a users manual for breakaway live, or even better. I beginners guide to broadcasting?
    Thanks

    You can use the attenuator plugins to bring the volume down…

    but that won’t add headroom to the analog inputs. 😉

    Hi dhalsey!

    There is no manual yet (I’ll write one eventually), but hopefully I can explain it pretty easily.

    Breakaway Live will even out the level and spectral balance of the incoming signal, so to adjust the volume in your speakers, P/A system etc, the volume must be adjusted AFTER the output of Breakaway Live (or on Breakaway Live’s volume control)

    When setting the input level to Breakaway Live, aim for the green area on the input meters, and make sure the input *never* clips (absolutely no red flashing).

    If the input signal is a little low, that’s okay — Breakaway will bring it up!

    Best regards,
    ///Leif
