Got it to work in VDJ but channel 3/4 Right I don’t get an audio output I see a signal in VDJ VU meter but none out to the speakers etc.
I switch ASIO drivers to the Gigport in VDJ and it’s fine, so it looks like the selection in Breakaway for the right channel is wrong or not working for my Gigaport AG card
Currently I have I/O settings of #12 and #34 in the Gigaport channels available in Breakthrough
Anyone with this problem with latest version of Breakaway DJ ?
Thanks
February 1, 2010 at 10:04 am #9795Dr.JMemberI don’t use VDJ nor the GigaPort soundcard, but what outputs did you select in VDJ? Are these set as the inputs on Breakaway DJ?
February 1, 2010 at 1:23 pm #9796LeifKeymasterIf you turn on Pink Noise (inside the settings), do you get output from all channels?

Good, now we know the problem is somewhere between Breakaway DJ and the sound card — we don’t have to worry about VirtualDJ anymore.
What is your Breakaway DJ I/O Configuration? Please post a screenshot if you can.

February 3, 2010 at 2:42 am #9801LeifKeymasterYou are kidding, right? How is audio supposed to get into the sound card?
L1/R1 are the left and right audio channels of the "left deck"
L2/R2 are the left and right audio channels of the "right deck"You have the right deck audio output disabled.

I’m supposed to know how your software works ? No docs and followed your e-mail instructions ..
Why not have the required outputs together (Like every other audio software does) What should R1 be then or are we supposed to know with just one box shown?
sheesh Thanks for your help. (My Bad)
February 3, 2010 at 2:47 pm #9803LeifKeymasterI apologize.. Just a lot of things at once at the moment.
This is a good learning experience — you’ve helped me figure out how to make it more obvious!
I’ll make the window taller so that the 4th line will fit in there as well.
Perhaps I should also make ASIO channels 1, 2, 3, 4 be the defaults — that would have avoided this issue as well.

Is there a single spot where the latest Betas can be found to download?
February 4, 2010 at 1:22 am #9807LeifKeymasterNot yet, but this would also be a really good idea. 🙂
