I muted BAE overnight and now I can’t "unmute" it. I double-click the Volume control but BAE refuses to play. It does process the audio because I see the output waveforms; I just don’t hear its output! I do hear sound without BAE processing the audio. Strange. Should I completely remove BAE and reinstall it?
Have you checked proper on youre soundcard, and inputs / outputs there? Like myself have various settings on my soundcard when using any Breakaway product.
And could u post youre settings, routings.
example
(winamp -> breakaway line 1 | breakaway line 1 -> speakers)
or
(all sound -> breakaway line 1 -> breakaway line 2 -> speakers)
Well, I decided to completely uninstall BAE with Revo Uninstaller and reinstall it. That fixed the problem. It’s weird, though, that it happened in the first place. Any clues, Leif?
I wonder if it could have gotten confused about the mute state. If it ever happens again, try just turning adjusting the volume upwards from MUTE, instead of double-clicking. This should work just as well. 🙂
Leif, you hit it on the head! I didn’t know that when the volume control is all the way down, it goes into MUTE mode. Crisis averted. Ya learn something new every day.
The reason I haven’t kept up with the releases is that I hadn’t checked in for the past few months to keep up with Leif’s development magic. I just installed 1.20.26 because I thought that was the latest version. I need to pop in here more regularly. 😉
