high life, words cannot describe how good i think your breakaway broadcast processer program is . i have looked on the forum but couldn’t find how to actually get it to work with spacialaudios sam broadcaster. i did get it to partially work with sam before however, i couldn’t hear the processed audio in the stream. so for example i could hear sams output with the processed audio in my speekers but when i connected to the stream i just heard the normal audio. sam has a studio mute which mutes the output from sam without effecting the output in the stream. so i did click that before connecting to the stream to listen. sorry if you don’t get what i’m talking about. thanks. hope you will be able to help me as i would love to get this to work
November 9, 2009 at 4:03 am #8909AuBadgeMemberI used only these instructions to run SAM with BA Live:
November 13, 2009 at 5:26 pm #8910AnonymousGuestyeh, these are the instructions i followed when i tried breakaway with sam. my problem is that the processed audio isn’t been encoded by the encoders on sam. anyone got any ideas?
November 13, 2009 at 11:18 pm #8911cyberneticorganismMemberYes, using Edcast (you can place encoders in edcast) π Are you dutch? I wrote a dutch manual for configuring SAM + BBP.

Right-Click in the encoder window on the encoder info, and highlight ‘Select Source’. Do you have ‘Audio Pipeline’ checked?
Also, below ‘Audio Pipeline’, see ‘Soundcard’. Is ‘Microsoft Sound Mapper’ checked?
That’s how my encoder is configured.
December 17, 2009 at 11:46 pm #8913AnonymousGuestsam broadcaster works perfect with BBP…i use it all the way the last 2 days..
At sam check the : EQ>MIXER>soundcard AGC….
IN= line1 breakaway pipeline
out= line 2 breakaway pipeline
then go to BBP I/O configuration and give it the same….
thats all…fantastic audio…
the only think that try to break my mind is a small problem with stereo… π i wish not for you…Also i use directly encoding via sam (windows 10 pro )
this is my webstation (under construction) http://www.zougla.gr/page.ashx?pid=2&aid=16866&cid=11
cheers* i tried the http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.ph … icle&id=81 instructions and works perfectly for me…
A question only :
(β’For the Input sampling rate, select the same sample rate you will be using in the DSP plug-in host (such as SAM)! This is very important, or the processing will literally run at the wrong rate.)how can i know sam’s sampling rate???
June 2, 2010 at 1:52 am #8914dancemusicradioParticipantsorry to dig this thread up but, how do you find the samplerate in sam? thanks
June 2, 2010 at 8:25 am #8915AuBadgeMemberIt’s located in the encoder "window". I’m miles from my system right now, but click on the button with the hammer (I think; I know it looks like tools), and select the encoder at the bitrate you want from the drop-down box.
