    Hi Leif. Thank you for a wonderful product of which I am satisfied user on Windows XP. But, now I want to leave Microsoft behind and loose myself in the promising world of Linux.

    Will you ever produce a Linux version f.ex. on Ubuntu distros?

    Thanks again,

    AON

    Hi AON!

    Thank you for your comments.

    I too was a satisfied Windows XP user, until I upgraded to Windows 7 just a few days ago. It doesn’t look like I’m going back.

    Unfortunately, Breakaway is only available for Windows. I am a lone programmer, and only have time to maintain one platform, so I don’t foresee there ever being a Linux version.

    Best regards,
    ///Leif

    Thanks for your answer.

    Do you know of any good audio enhancing software packages for f.ex. Ubuntu?

    I don’t know of any good audio processing software for Linux. I believe it may not be the best choice of operating system for someone interested in audio.

    Please remember to take software availability in account when choosing what operating system to ultimately use — this factor is very much part of the deal, and a big part of the answer why Windows has maintained such huge market share while many more well designed operating systems have come and gone. Excellent software availability is also why I personally stick with it.

    Best,
    ///Leif
