    Hello,

I’m trying to calibrate my soundcard.
It worked out for the tilt correction.
Tilt is now set to 5 and Coeff is set to -20.
Coeff adjustment doesn’t has much effect to the signal.
    Is that normal?

    Now when i look here:
    http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.ph … &Itemid=84

It must be possible to adjust PEQ as well.
But the sliders in BBP are dark and i can’t change the values.. 😕

    I’m using BBP ASIO and a M AUDIO audiophile 192 , Windows XP sp3 .

Setup: Mixer – BBPASIO – exciter.

    I made some screenshots:

    Am i missing something?
Or do i have the wrong settings?

Alreay reinstalled BBP and soundcard drivers/ software.
    But no effect.

The coeff does have an effect – you can see it clearly if you turn tilt excessively high and then adjust the coeff while looking at the scope.

PEQ is not available in low latency mode, as phase linear PEQ itself actually adds more latency! If you set it to Phase Linear mode, the PEQ controls will be enabled.

It’s basically a choice one has to make — if you need low latency, you will have to have a good exciter and sound card, which will then not need any PEQ correction.

So it’s better to use Low latency?
    The transmitter is a Siel.
Soundcard M-audio 192. (juli@ was out of stock)
Not bad stuff if you ask me.
    It sounds great already 😀

What i ment about the coeff:
It does’t effect the signal as much as the tilt does.
When i set it extremly high or low i see changes on the scope.

By the way you’re using the old software/driver for your card, which is crap. Do a quick search and grab the latest, it’s much better!

Don’t know why they’re still shipping new cards out with the old disc!! 👿

    Thanks 🙂
    Updated to version :
    Panel 5.10.0.5069
    Driver 5.10.0.5069

That seems to be the latest.

Phase Linear will sound better than Low Latency. However, Low Latency is.. well.. Lower Latency 🙂.

If you must monitor off air then you have no choice — Low Latency is the only option.

But, if you can use the Studio Output for monitoring instead, then you can turn on Phase Linear and get better sound on the air but still have low latency monitoring!

    Best,
