KeymasterHello Ronny, can you post the link to your stream, and a screenshot of your Breakaway settings?

KeymasterThat sounds bad indeed!
It doesn’t sound like overmodulation to me, it sounds like skipping/crackling.
Can you try Large / Huge buffer size?
Perhaps disable "audio realtime priority", some sound cards work better without it.
Also you could try to load edcast as an encoder plug-in inside breakaway. Enable "Encoders" in the i/o options, and you’ll get a new option in the settings to load encoder plugins. Make sure you set the plug-in to live-recording OFF (it should say Recording from DSP).
Best,

KeymasterCould you try disabling "audio realtime priority" as well? I’m starting to believe I should remove this option — it seems to be causing more harm than good.

KeymasterHey, I wonder if it’s the Xonar card. I have one of those, and the drivers were truly awful. Could you try with the onboard sound and see if it’s any better?

KeymasterPentium Dual Core 2.4 is definitely fast enough! It should not be a problem.
Try with on-board sound, let me know how it works out.
