GuestHas any one used The broadcast edition for on air use? If so is it possible to use with sam broadcaster? I am really tempted to buy a couple of licenses for my presenters but im worried it may not work,
Could some one seek inside to find out please? Thank You very much !

MemberI use BA Live with SAM, and I think they were made for each other. I’m very happy with the results. Easy to set up, too.

Thank you!

GuestHi, I followed that link and i can inport it as a dsp but it wont work on voice fx for when i talk? Is there a way of getting that to work?

MemberSlightly off topic but I decided to install the DSP’s as per the link instructions. All worked well until I tried to revert to using the audio pipeline in Breakaway Live again i.e. Breakaway Pipeline 1 and 2 (output) – I can no longer see the Breakaway Pipelines in any of the other applications (I did before I installed the DSP’s) so now I no longer have a working system.
Tried uninstall Breakaway Pipeline Live a few times but still nothing can see them.
Perhaps someone has seen this before or knows how I can once again get this to work again otherwise I need to rebuild the Windows 2003 system from scratch!

Member@jameslawson – You need to set the Voice FX destination to "Mixer" otherwise it won’t go to Breakaway.

GuestHi, Heres a selection of printscreens of how i’ve got it setup,

It seems how ever LiveLink 1 is the only one that is doing the work thats why i’ve set it to there, Correct me if i’m wrong,
Thank You.

MemberYour setup looks good, just need to change the Voice FX destination in the Voice FX configuration panel, it needs to be Mixer (record to pipeline), not sure why it is right in the mixer and wrong the Voice FX panel, I thought they were tied together.

GuestThen I’ll have to listen to my self?
Isnt there a way around that?
Although it only miss the compression when i put on to skip the output so you may be onto something,
Thank you

MemberThe easiest workaround I can think of, is to not monitor using ‘AIR’, rather ‘CUE’. Enable the Cue output on the same sound card, turn off air and put the decks you want to listen to in Cue and Air at the same time, you won’t hear processed audio, but you won’t have to listen to your mic delayed either. The delay through SAM and listening off the "air" while using a microphone have been an issue with SAM for a long time.
