    I use Breakaway Broadcast, love it.

    We’re looking at purchasing 2 licenses of Breakaway Live for AAC+ streams, we are changing streaming providers.

    We would be using EMU0404 cards, and the StreamAudio/Chaincast encoder on the very same machine (which has no AGC/multiband built-in processing)…

    They’re not Core2Duos, but they are earlier dual-core 2.8ghz machines with a gig of ram each.

    Can you suggest how I might set it up?

    emu audio in>breakaway live wav input?>pipeline output>encoder ???

    Anyone using this setup on the same machine with streaming encoding software like Ando or StreamAds?

    (never been a fan of the SOS/Streamads built-in "AGC")

    It should work fine with Ando’s software. I contracted there for a few months btw. 🙂

    Yeah,

    Ando’s pricing structure is robbery. We like it, though.

    I’d like to demo Breakaway Live….LIVE on our stream…what’s the demo "nag" or limitation? I didn’t hear an announcement like in the Breakaway Broadcast demo that I had, before buying a key.

    Yeah, Breakaway Live has a commercial; I’ve heard it a few times from my Live demo. Not sure what the periodicity is but it plays every so often.

    The commercial comes approximately once every 50 minutes in live and broadcast.

    Plenty rarely enough for verifying the sound quality though 🙂.
