    Hi to all!

In Spain, the most heared radio station is "Los 40 principales" and the transmitter of "Valencia" province have a particular sound.

For me, this sound increases the stereo separation without stereo expanders or enhancers, additionally makes a bumping sound when singer sings, generating a strange effect with the voice over the instruments.

I rec this station and send to Leif, and mr. Leif has determined that the very close preset for this sound are with these parameters:

    Preset: Reference Classical

    Final Drive: +1
    Range: 50
    Power: 100
    Speed: 40
    Bass Boost: +8 to +15
    Bass shape: 0

Feel free to adjust the bass controls to your liking.

I like this sound because is very melodic and I hear details in songs that don’t hear in other presets.

I think that this preset is better for POP (top 40, today’s music) and pop-rock ballads (of today and remember music) but for me is not valid for dance music.

I need opinions, please try and share the opinion!

    Indeed!

I think this is a perfect example of the preset names being only suggestions. If it sounds good, go for it! 🙂

I’ve been using something very similar for a couple of days and it sounds very nice on my Soft Adult/Contemporary internet stream.

    Preset: Reference Classical
    Final Drive: +1
    Range: 50
    Power: 75
    Speed: 40
    Bass Boost: +5
    Bass shape: 0

You can listen here if interested in how it sounds.
