Anyone help please,I have a WinServer 2019, running Breakaway one & recently Radio DJ, is there an easy way to have remote DJs connect, play their show but then output via Icecast/shoutcast processed? The server is going to be used as the main stream server. The DJ's will control the auto DJ via mounts.
You'll need management package to get the stream receiver but then you can have the stream receiver on standby at all times, waiting for a stream to go live, when it does, it takes over the input to the processor over the normal sound card input. Your DJs stream in to the address the stream RX is listening for, and when they drop the connection, the normal input kicks straight back in. The easiest way I have found to do this is to run a local Icecast server on the machine, point the stream RX to that port/mountpoint on the local server and the DJ connects in via that IP/Port/Mountpoint. You'll just need to port map the incoming port on your local network.
