Running a trial version of BAE. I've noticed the audio is lagging behind the video (around 0.1 seconds) while watching movies, YouTube videos, etc. This has only occurred since I started using BAE.

I hope there's a solution, as I really like the program and intend to purchase at the end of the trial period. Everything sounds amazing with it running.

    Specs:

    Windows 10, 64 bit.
i5-6500 processor with 1GB of RAM.
Using onboard graphics (HD Graphics 530).
Audio is sent via optical out to my receiver.

Any suggestions as to what the cause could be?

    Thanks.

Sorry, that should be 16GB of RAM, not 1GB.

Try decreasing your buffers. It'll increase your CPU usage but should decrease the delay.

Logically, the audio is going through some more processing and, depending on the abilities of the processing path, this will create a delay. If your audio chip is ASIO capable, that will reduce the delay, and tinkering with buffer sizes (smaller is better) will help, but may introduce artefacts if too small.

Some A/V systems even have the ability to adjust the video delay, by using a slider so that you can get the lip sync back with the audio.

    Thanks guys.

Since posting, I tried exactly what both of you suggested and the decreased buffer size (changed from medium to tiny) has had the desired effect. Lips are matching words again. No clicking or pops, either.

    Thanks.
