Hello Leif,
I know there is no comparison point between VL and BAE, and that there is no more support for the VL plugin, but I wanted to ask your opinion, as what would be the closest equivalent to the reference heavy preset in VL? I would like to keep a good dynamic range and bring all quiet moments up to a more steady volume, between different kinds of music for my Ipod (Rock, Heavy, Pop, etc). I’m not sure if the "general purpose" preset in VL would be the reference’s small brother. If there is any other preset you would personally recomend or preffer in VL for this, I’m happy to hear suggestions.
I havent tried the recording method mentioned by michi95 in the post "Winamp Plugin" (I will try it, but I like to stick with your products) and this also seems the easiest method for me. (I’m still praying for BA Batch Recorder to see the light someday 😀 )

The answer is the General preset. However, the VL core had many inherent flaws which I was never able to correct until I started from scratch, making the Breakaway core.

With all due respect to Leif’s prior efforts, I’m highly surprised that someone would actually want to make Breakaway sound like Volume Logic. 😛 But then again, there are people who think they can make Sound Solution sound just like an Optimod… talk about trying to squeeze water from a stone! 🙄
