    I wondered if it is possible to defeat L/R crosscoupling?

    Hi Audiophile!

    It’s not. For compressors/AGCs, anything less than 100% L/R coupling causes stereo image shifts, and loss of stereo separation. Thus, the algorithms actually don’t support it — there isn’t even an internal coupling control. 🙂

    Are you looking to process two mono programs?
