    I'm trying to send the metadata out via using Breakaway One's internal encoder and although the artist and song show up in Breakaway One, the metadata is not making it to my stream…I'm running RadioDJ and configured everything for my metadata correctly, because when I use a separate encoder (BUTT) my steam does see the correct meta data…thanks

    Just saw this now. The problem is that it's a different encoder. That meta-data setting is for BreakawayOne's encoders. Just like Breakaway's encoder, any other encoder you use needs to have its own ways of getting meta-data into it.

    When I just use Breakaway One (with BUTT disabled) I can't get the metadata to connect to my stream. The metadata shows up in Breakaway One though.

    I would prefer to use the encoder built into Breakaway One, but it does not send the meta-data to my stream.

    Do you have any suggestions how to set up the internal encoder on Breakaway One?

    What codec is it? What server is it?

    Codec is MP3 at 128kbps
    Server is Shoutcast V2

    Every other Encoder I have tried, I can generate the metadata that transmits right to my Abovecast player and other radio directories.

    I just went through the arduous process of creating a fake account on shoutcast to test this. It worked fine for me. So it's not a problem with BreakawayOne.

    ???  Are you sure that you see text in BreakawayOne Streaming Overview, in the "Current" box, like this?

    You'll probably be using the "File or URL" option, unless you have the management package and are pushing meta-data to BreakawayOne's HTTP server.

    Fixed:
    My NowPlaying.txt file was not properly formatted.

    Having metadata issues.

    BreakawayOne is reading my NowPlaying file from MegaSeg.

    It only displays the songs title, and not the artist name.

    Reading the textfile in an editor it shows both.
