I thought about using the expression "Beating a Dead Horse" but I believe that is reserved for projects no longer viable or relevant and I believe that BAE is very relevant and has no equal.
I am sitting here listening to relaxing music playing on a system that would not have a reason to exist in my home if there were a Mac Version of BAE. When I think of all the money I have spent over the years just to use BAE I would have gladly used it to purchase a Mac version of BAE. After spending the last 20 years of my career as an IS supervisor in charge of a team keeping Windows based systems running, I made a vow to spend my retirement enjoying my MAC. But alas it seems I cannot get away from Windows ( Believe me I have tried! ) but at least both of my Windows 7 systems are running on MACs.
I am sure I have at one time or another tried every audio processing program, plugin etc for OSX that I thought might work but none, in my humble opinion, even come close to BAE. I maintain my music library in OSX (Presently El Capitan) but listen to my music with Windows 7 / BAE, one on Bootcamp and another with a Parallels Desktop Virtual machine.
