    What would be a good soundcard to input xlr and is affordable? I don't need one capable of RDS.

    Analog or digital on XLR? Input audio and/or MPX? How many channels? Does it need outputs?

    192kHz soundcards (worth using) aren't any more expensive than 96kHz or below anymore, since 192kHz converters have not only been around for quite a while now, but also are starting to surpass 96kHz converter audio quality.
