Upgraded to a new laptop running windows 8. Installed breakaway DJ but will not work after configuration setup. The problem is the computer repeatly reboots itself after selecting the sound card. Had no problem on my older laptop running windows 7. Any help please.
It sounds like the driver says it supports Kernel Streaming, but in reality it does not. That's a very BAD thing to do, and it will cause a "blue screen" and reboot. It's the fault of the soundcard's drivers. Have you tried updating the soundcard drivers to the official drivers from the manufacturer?
Replace the BB pipeline with VAC and you'll have no problems
