    Hey all,

I just recently decided to invest in some good speakers, and I found someone selling some mid-90's Pioneer CS-T2100-K floor standing tower speakers.  They aren't the greatest, but certainly better than my previous Logitech PC speakers.

In my effort to get these to sound as good as possible, I discovered Breakaway.  After playing with it for a bit, I find it helps make my JVC HA-RX900 headphones sound a lot better, but doesn't do a whole of a lot to the sound coming out of my speakers.

How does one configure Breakaway to get the most out of it? If I can improve the sound of these things, I'll definitely buy the program but right now I haven't found it to make much of a difference except for make everything sound a bit… muddy?  I'm probably not using the audio terms correctly, but alas.

    Hints, tips, help anyone?

I found the FAQ at http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48:breakaway-audio-enhancer-faq&catid=43:bae-support&Itemid=1044 to be useful.

Also, hovering the green sliders ("Volume", "Range", "Power", "Speed", "Bass", "Bass Shape") pops up good information.
