Howdyyyyyhooooooo! *is waving*
Today i had been working on a new version of the Dutch Manual, for the newest version of BBP. I choose to make a new one, and let the old one for what it is. Most people will use the latest version anyway, and i recommend it because it contains mayor bugfixes and improvements! You can read how to install and configure Breakaway Broadcast Processor with SAM Broadcaster. You can also download it from the dutch SAM Broadcasterforum. BBP standard has also big similarity’s with the other Breakaway versions, so in that case you can learn from this manual as well.
The "Old" manual for version 0.90.49 till 0.90.69: http://www.pokens4u.nl/Handleiding%20v.2%20Breakaway%20Broadcast%20Processor.pdf
The "New" manual for version 0.90.77 & 0.90.79: http://www.pokens4u.nl/Handleiding%20Breakaway%20Broadcast%20Processor%20Standard%20Versie%200.90.79.pdf

January 27, 2009 at 2:41 pm #6436LeifKeymasterHey, could you update the manual to refer to 0.90.69 instead?
It’s not a good idea that it refers to such an old version, because of the huge performance improvements which have happened since then. High CPU usage was probably the #1 complaint before the optimizations, and there are still lots of people with older computers.

January 27, 2009 at 4:59 pm #6437cyberneticorganismMemberYeah, i also say that in the manual at the end (that the newest version at time of writing is 0.90.69, and that it increases CPU performance with 30%).
I also have to make a dutch manual of the newest version, and i learned a few things the last days that also can be explained in the new manual. For example the use of the Livelink DSP plug-in, which still works without glitches and dropouts here
But making a manual takes a lot of time, i try starting with the new version this week 😉
January 30, 2009 at 1:15 pm #6438cyberneticorganismMemberLeif, i just updated the manual to a new version!
February 17, 2009 at 9:02 pm #6439cyberneticorganismMemberI finally ordered BBP! So Leif don’t worry, you can eat next month too 😆
Now it’s waiting for the code to be send. I think i am going to buy the Live version in a later stadium.
February 20, 2009 at 4:27 am #6440LeifKeymasterGlad to hear it, Cybo! 🙂
Thank you, and best regards,
///LeifJuly 23, 2009 at 5:24 pm #6441cyberneticorganismMemberI have posted a new version of the BBP manual, see the top of this topic I also changed the download locations, you can now download it from the servers of one of my websites… forever!
Leif, good work again to further improve BBP! Still have to buy myself an ASIO card to use for the Live shows (and BBP ASIO), but that comes in a later stadium. Just bought a Sennheiser HD 25 II headphone, and i love it 8)
Also Studio 26 Radio is relaunched in a short time… legally and of course with BBP running as sound compressor / limiter for the stream!
