    Hi,

    i have tested both version Broadcaster and live, both sound great.
    But what are the differences between the versions?

    I want to use it for internet streaming only, so what version is the best on for me?

    i think than breakaway live is better for you , because the delay is very low , i have 4ms of latency with asio mode enable !(and extra low latency activated in breakaway live setting). 😀

    it’s better for monitoring !

    But breakaway broadcast have a "long(100ms i guess)" delay .But breakaway broadcast use a special clipper who make a more loud sound than breakaway live.

    Sebastien is absolutely right.

    Breakaway Live is low delay, low cpu usage, excellent audio quality (if not pushed too hard).
    Breakaway Broadcast is higher delay, higher cpu usage, excellent audio quality, but can be pushed much harder than Live, for 2-3dB extra loudness without audible distortion!

    For the best possible setup, use both. Breakaway Live to feed your headphones, and Breakaway Broadcast to feed the encoder or transmitter. We sell both in a package for $299 🙂.

    I did some testing, and liked the sound of Broadcaster. So i ordered it today. Hope to get the reg key soon.

    One question left, is it possible to make my own presets for Broadcaster?

    Thank you very much for your purchase! You should have the key today or tomorrow. (Keith Edwards generates the keys — he’s on california time.)

    It is not possible to make your own presets, but you can change a lot of things with the gui controls (range, power, speed).

    We have plans to make an advanced version with full control in the future.

    got the reg key! thanks.

    2 questions.

    1. i’m changing computers in about a month, is this a problem for the registration of breakaway?
    2. is there a special price if i want to buy Breakaway Live, let’s say next month?
