    Hi!
    Maybe I'm not doing something right, but when I make a screen capture recording of a video or live broadcast with FastStone I get no sound in the recording. I hear the sound while recording, but playing it back it's silent: only the images show.

    I've tried using Bypass, and Shut Down, and in the latter case all sound is gone. I just uninstalled Breakaway Audio Enhancer to make a recording with sound, but now all sound is gone also. So to get it back I'll reinstall it again, but how is this?

    PS:
    The verification measures to post here are very cumbersome… I've never seen this on any forum. And I can hardly make out some of  the letters, and since the sound is gone, I can't hear them either…

    I've already had to retry 8 times. This is ridiculous, sorry.

    Close FastStone capture in the task tray.

    open start menu and find FastStone capture, then right click and run as Admin.

    This worked for me!

    As one of the Admins who has to constantly delete post after post of porn and drug links, the verification should be stronger, not weaker.

    There are perhaps two possibilities:
    1. There may not be audio output devices, such as earphones or speakers;
    2. It is possible that the sound card does not support the recording function.

    The solutions are as below:
    1. Insert the output device
    2. Computer system cannot support it, so there is no way to fix it.

    To do such common things, I apply Joyoshare Screen Recorder for PC, which can work in fast way with a vast range of formats supported in lossless quality. If yu need, you can try as well.
