    I am a medical transcriptionist.  I use software programs provided by my company to download dictation to transcribe.  Would audio enchancer improve the quality of the voice files I need to transcribe?

    If what you want is to remove background noise, or directly edit the audio file, no it would not. But if you want to improve the clarity or details of your audio while you're listening with the computer, you should try Breakaway Live, it has a news/talk preset focused more on voice, rather than music. The current version of the BAE (the small brother of Live, and cost much less), does not have such preset, but it was mentioned it would get a similar preset in the future.

    Anyway, BAE will improve the volume of all sound coming from your PC (music, audiobooks, etc.), you should definitely give the demo a try and listen for yourself.

    Great!  Thank you so much for your response.  I'll give the BAE a try.  If I could afford the Live, I would definitely get that.
