Hi,
We have a PC running BBP with no sound card configuration : we use BBP pipeline to process sound.
-we use VLC to play a mp3 stream from a hardware encoder
-we use pipeline 2 a default source in windows configuration
-in BBP, we set up pipeline 2 as input source and pipeline 1 as output
-we use edcast as output encoder to send processed stream to external shoutcast server
All audio is on IP, it works fine but after nearly 60 / 70 hours of streaming, we are encountering complete audio dropouts. VLC is still connected but the stream is one second on air, one second next off, and so on.
If I stop BBP, VLC is playing stream fine. If I restart VLC, problem is still there.
The only thing to do is to restart PC, or restart BBP.
Configuration:
-we run windows 7 x64
-we use latest version of BBP and VLC (2.1.3)
-physical sound cards are disabled on PC
-we use realtime process in BBP
-we use KS mode for pipeline
What's wrong with our config ?
Should I set up a scheduled task to restart PC each night ?
Thanks
