So I am using Live to broadcast on the internet, still in demo mode at this time.

I got the encoder set up and working properly, I got the stream sounding the way I like it, for now. But, I had to turn the bass way down, otherwise it was way to overpowering. But doing that has made it so my in studio monitoring of the live processed signal has next to nothing for bass. Is this where the other outputs come into play? Or is this where I need to add instances? I am a bit confused by it all to be honest.

    Thank you

It sounds like whatever you're using to monitor your stream is turning up the bass a lot.  You should use a reference quality decoder that isn't going to do *anything* to change the sound between decoding and sending to your soundcard.  And you'll want the soundcard of anything used for referencing to also not do *anything* to the sound before it is sent to your speakers. 🙂

The one exception to the rule would be using the speaker eq correction within Live to fix frequency response issues with your monitoring, if there are any. (just about every speaker can benefit from a correct/accurate eq compensation though)
