I use both BAE and BL and love them both.
Breakaway Live has a module for rolling in Loudness EQ in relation to the output volume setting.
Might you consider providing a similar control for compression ratio (Power) in relation to volume?
I would find this even more useful than loudness EQ – and would love it on the lighter weight Audio Enhancer in particular.
For instance, I have our household music running off an old PC using a limited function, remote programmable keypad – including volume hooks into breakaway (thanks for those!). But we like mostly "serious music" with a lot of (desirable) dynamic range. When we are listening at natural volume I have to go and  fiddle with the PC and set the Power to zero.
But we also have music on during, say, household chores and meal prep – that wants to be less intrusive – but audible (lower volume with more compression).

Hint, hint: I have wanted this feature in car audio for years – and believe that a kit or product that  could accomplish this in the car (compression ratio hooked to volume) would find a substantial and appreciative market.

Try this in BAE, even though it might seem counter-intuitive at first…

and you'll find that it actually has the least amount of peak control (limiting in this case) than most other ways to set Breakaway, and it doesn't sound very processed either.  Set the range as desired.
