BAE Worked fine on Windows 10, but I have recently upgraded to Windows 11.
BAE will play for a few hours, then it just closes.
I have to restart BAE evertime this happens.
    Any suggestions would be apprecieated.

Which version do you have installed? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? I just loaded it up on my Win11 laptop and it seems fine so far…

    I’m using BAE 1.40.03
    Windows 11 version: 22H2

Already tried all the basic things, such as uninstall and reinstall BAE.
It’s odd that it just happened as soon as I went to Windows 11.

I’ve been running 22H2 since 28th September and have not had a problem with BAE. It seems to be driver related, with some PCs failing and others sailing on unimpeded.

I’ve raised it with Leif. He may get back to me and ask you to provide more information on your particular environment.

    Just an update:
I’ve uninstalled & reinstalled Windows 11 Realtek audio drivers and so far things seem to be working ok.
Listening to music for over 10 hours and haven’t had any issues.

Nice! Also, the latest version of BAE is 1.42. This may or may not have an impact on the reliability of the virtual soundcard driver. Glad you got it sorted.

Thanks for the heads up on the latest version of BAE 1.42.
Do you happen to know where I can find it? I’m not seeing it anyplace.

It’s available directly from their website. https://www.claessonedwards.com/download/

Yeah, the Downloads page has the latest links. However the Home-Audio page that hosts all the BAE info contains links to the older version.

    @Milky
, could you let Leif know this so he can update that link and reduce the number of accidental 1.40 downloads?

    Thank you. Will do.

Edit/Update: I am assured by the Webmaster that this link has now been fixed. Thanks for the heads up.
