    Hi,

I'm trying the software right now and I'm loving it, compared with other tools I've used before. Having that said, I've encountered a big usability problem that might impede me from purchasing it. The connection between the internal Windows volume control and BAE is almost non-existent. Although I can, to some extent, control BAE with my laptop's volume hotkeys, it's volume is affected at a much smaller pace then the Window's message displays on the screen (Windows 8 ). So I can see 100% on my screen and be at -30dB or see 0% and still hear loud sounds. Even the mute button doesn't always sync, sometimes it doesn't work with BAE making me think that sound is muted even though it's not. I can't believe how nobody complained about this yet. Is there anything we can do about it? This is my major problem with the software and what will keep me from purchasing it if I can't find a way around. I have tried using this http://www.forumclaessonedwards.com/forum/index.php/topic,916.0.html but it's not affecting BAE volume.

The other thing is I'm using Windows 8 x64 on an Asus K56CB laptop with an external audio card and speaker set. Since this is a laptop I have the necessity to move it around and sometimes use the internal audio. BAE does not make this easy for me. It should have a list of preferred devices and connect to the one on the top of the list if available, if not, move on to the next. It should also remember the last settings for each preferred device and allow for importing/exporting settings. Not having these functions makes it a great program with a terrible user experience.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed a light on the subject.
