    Breakaway Audio Enhancer works great for me to get a little more volume out of my Laptop…BUT periodically I lose ALL sound. I have to uninstall it, reboot, re-install it, then it’s OK for several days. Is there a way I can fix it w/o having to uninstall and reinstall? Better yet is there a way to keep it from doing this in the first place.

    Firefox 15.0

    This has just happened to me as well. All sound on my computer is gone and I’m not sure if it’s a Breakaway issue or something wrong with my sound card.

    Very strange. No idea. Let us know if you guys do figure it out, and I’ll let you know if anything comes to mind suddenly, but don’t wait up for me to get home. That’s a weird one.

    I won’t insult you with the obvious stuff like check what your default soundcard is set to be, etc. 😉

    Definitely not a Breakaway issue. I had some other things go totally weird on me as well after a Windows update so I rolled everything back three days then took just the critical updates and everything is fine.
