Hi, I record one spanish station called Cadena 100.

On Valencia province this station sound with a lot clarity, with an ultra-soft processing.

Please Leif, JesseG, Boki, and all users: can tell me your opinion?

    Thanks!

Q106, those demo clips are neither valid nor useful, because they are neither composite nor pre-emphasized. There is no way to know what the loudness would be on air, whether there were any overshoots, if the audio is within the limits of FM, or even if the audio has been through an FM processor.

I approached Solidyne years ago about providing downloadable composite (MPX) recordings, and they seemed interested at first but nothing happened.

Thanks for the link. That company was new to me 🙂

But the demo doesn’t "change my mind". Seems that this box has even some more phase-nonlinearities than the 31-band-brand (the bass on the Jamiroquai-Track sounds completely boomy and phasy) and there are some noticeable pumping-artifacts. And using a denser setting on the own processor than on the "american made" for comparison is not really fair…

This company has some of the best broadcast products in the market place.Their consoles and processors are very capable and price effective. No such thing as a perfect processor and that 31 band has a new 2.0 version that is amazing. One on air in B’Ham Alabama and nothing beats it on voice .Finally a digital box that has conquered voice processing!!

I have yet to hear one on the air or an accurate composite recording of one. If someone has a composite recording I will be happy to take a listen.
