I have a question about Input and output rate for the Juli@ soundcard.

I have the following BBP situation:

    One Juli@ soundcard
One onboard Realtek soundcard (not 192KHz capable)

    BBP setup:

Input: Julia Audio (44 KHz) – audio in
RDS In: Breakaway Pipeline 3 (192 KHz) – Airomate RDS
L/R Out: Realtek output (44 KHz) – to amplifier
MPX Out: Julia Audio (192 KHz) – to transmitter

This won’t pass the Breakaway Test:
"Unable to open Juli@ Audio for input at 44100Hz, 2 channels.16 bits"

Question 1: Must the Julia input and output run at the same rate?

Question 2: What does the Juli@ Clock select (Int/Ext) exactely do?

    Hi

I think input/output from juli@ must be the same rate.
You can use the input from the rt onboard card.

Yes, Juli@ must work at same samplerate (192 kHz), then you can use Realtek for input at 44 KHz samplerate, and always with internal clock, external it’s only for an optical input.

    Best regards.

    Thanks guys you’re very helpful.

    To Boki:

I have never fully understand the direct wire feature.

What are you exactely do with this virtual audio cable patch?

Also i see you configured the Wave interface. Why? Does this not work with the other interfaces?

    Thanks in advance for replying.
